If none are had, then none are found,
If one is discovered then more are around,
Emptiness is consistent with desire,
But fulfillment can be a raging fire,

To want is to seek
for reward is not granted to the meek
To find is a great boon
But, alas too much will cause a swoon

One is a pleasure
But it attracts more
Two is not a treasure
but a situation to deplore

One begat two, two begat three
Three is a problem
It has no right to be.

So is it better for mind
to have none for all time
or to only have you find
that addition a is a crime.

Memory fails me. I’m going to guess I was dating someone and wanting to date someone else.
