I&#8217;m also thinking about this year&#8217;s trip already so I think I am going to scoot through the remaining bits of the trip just to get it done. Next year it will really have to be more of an ongoing effort.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Day 16<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Vancouver, Leslie; The aquarium; Comfort Inn<\/em><br \/>\nSaturday found Zak and I awaiting Leslie on Granville Island, Vancouver<br \/>\n<em>[Image lost in the big crash :-(]<\/em><\/p>\n<p>After a quick visit we decided on Lunch at Feenies (Chef Rob Feenie&#8217;s lunch spot beside Luminiare) and then headed to the Aquarium as we always do.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"img_01661.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_01661.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_01661.jpg\" alt=\"img_01661.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After a great afternoon we headed off to find a place to stay for the night. Unfortunately this took us all the way out to the airport to the Comfort Inn (and it tweren&#8217;t too comfie&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 17, Sunday August 5<\/strong><br \/>\n<a title=\"img_01701.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_01701.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_01701.jpg\" alt=\"img_01701.jpg\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe Naughty Doc, a Beneteau 393 chartered from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bluepacificcharters.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Blue Pacific Yacht Charters<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>0900 Blue Pacific<\/strong><br \/>\n<a title=\"img_01751.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_01751.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_01751.jpg\" alt=\"img_01751.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>1200 Fuel Dock:<\/strong>\u00a0a few quick basics with Captain John Fairweather, our instructor, and we are off (as a omen we we lucky enough to see a Kingfisher alight momentarily on our boat before we left the bay)<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"img_01781.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_01781.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_01781.jpg\" alt=\"img_01781.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"img_01821.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_01821.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_01821.jpg\" alt=\"img_01821.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Passage:sailing @ 10.9 knots<\/p>\n<p><strong>1600 Poirler Pass<\/strong> and seals<br \/>\n<a title=\"img_02021.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_02021.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_02021.jpg\" alt=\"img_02021.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>1700 Fishing<\/strong> for rock cod and ling cod and we passed baby seal waiting patiently for mom on a log.<br \/>\n<a title=\"img_02121.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_02121.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/macblaze.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/img_02121.jpg\" alt=\"img_02121.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>2000 anchor<\/strong> outside Montague Bay.
