In the land west of Nod, the flesh of Gaia lies torn
\nPenetrated by bearers of succulence,
\nHere is found forbidden fruit, in this fertile garden,
\nBeauty incarnate, the seeds of truth wait.
\nBut softness of its skin, ripe, tender,
\nIt waits to be consumed<\/p>\n
Solus he enters, name-giver man
\nThe red ripeness of this seed beckons, pulls
\nIt shows the reflection of his self, a passageway to his truth
\nAn offer of fulfillment, purity untouched
\nUntouchable, by tradition, by God’s Law, forbidden<\/p>\n
Alas Darwin dictates to primate man
\nAnimal curiosity rules, conceit persuades
\nDesire dominate, manipulates, justifies
\nTo reach out … to caress … to Know
\nTo Possess.
\nThe I that is Mankind is engendered
\n The I that wants,
\n The inherent vice that taunts
\nIt is the hidden flaw, the denied reality
\nThe final argument against omniscient omnipotence
\nGenerating Greed, Covetousness, Envy, Lust
\nA wind rustled the leaves of perfection
\nEden no longer awaits.
\nA beast has burst from the loins of man
\nTo be his only true offspring.
\nThe passion feeds it, its hunger grows,<\/p>\n
Laden, the bough nods down, His arm extends
\nTo caress the cool flesh of knowledge
\nYes, to know All, to Truly know, to Possess
\nTo own.<\/p>\n

Wind whispers down through the leaves
\n\u2014No, man cannot take, it is for others to give\u2014
\nLust flows from fingertips to fruit, flesh unites
\nIn unity man divides, passion consumes, fear divides
\nThe Eternal Conflict is born.
\nThe contact is lost, the seed still inviolate
\nThe truth of flesh will, for a space yet remain out of his grasp
\nYet the truth remains, the hunger feeds, growing strong<\/p>\n
East of Eden the tender skin of the earth once more erupts,
\nA tainted meat now awaits,
\nRaw and bloody, this newly rent flesh harbours the seed
\nThe truth of man’s love will metamorphose here
\nChaos and confusion reign, simplicity is lost,
\nNow true beauty lies hidden beneath many layers,
\nReality springs forth; man’s existence is at last defined<\/p>\n

A serpent smiles, the smile of true knowledge
\nThe juice of the truth on his lips
\nThe flesh of the fruit peacefully awaits
\nFor fulfillment, for the fall of woman
\nFor Man had already fallen.<\/p>\n
